WEW Engineering - Consulting Engineers > Retirement for Tony and Barbara

Best of luck to Tony and Barbara

WEW would like to wish two of our staple WEW professionals and personalities the very best of luck in their retirement.
Tony Mahon and Barbara Harrison (van der Puil) have stepped down from their roles in WEW to enjoy time with their families.

Tony, one of the founding members of WEW has retired from his position as a Director. Tony had a long-serving career with 53 years of working life having started his apprenticeship with Mahon McPhillips at the young age of 14 where he first met Henk van der Puil and Seamus Crickley in 1970. Tony has specific expertise in the design, specification, and application of advanced instrumentation and process control systems is unparalleled. Tony like all Directors poured his heart and soul into the company and now Mary wants that heart and soul home to enjoy their grandkids and golden years, and no one is as deserving.

Barbara, (office manager of WEW) joined WEW temporarily in 2012 to help out but proved her worth and quickly became indispensable. To say Barbara has gone above and beyond for all of the staff would be an understatement. Barbara’s attention to detail is scarcely matched when it comes to documentation and presentation. Most of all she will be missed for her friendly face, kind words of encouragement and her incredible wit keeping morale high on a daily basis.
