Dave is a chartered engineer working as a project manager here at WEW since 2020 with over 20 years of Engineering experience to date. Dave is a former post graduate tutor at DCU in Energy Management and holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and a B.Eng in Structural Engineering from Munster Technological University and a Master’s Degree in The Management of Clean Technologies from Dublin City University. Dave has a broad collection of additional licences and certificates in health & safety, sustainability, dangerous goods and climate change.

Dave has a background in the quarrying, mining and civil engineering industries in Ireland, the UK and the USA. Dave has worked with clients Pepsi, Lafarge, Danone, Roadstone, Johnson & Johnson, Irish Cement, BioMarin, the BBC, West Cork Distillers and many more. Dave has worked on wastewater treatment plant (WwTP) designs and upgrades and has worked on an R&D project on Anaerobic Digestion control and automation.

Dave is passionate about the circular economy, sustainability, energy management, water conservation and water stewardship.
