Jack is the Technical Director at WEW Engineering Ltd. Jack holds a BA in Biosystems Engineering from UCD and a Masters of Engineering, Biosystems Engineering (MEng) from UCD also.

He has a keen interest in energy/nutrient recovery, waste to energy technologies and the circular bioeconomy concepts. He has worked on municipal projects in Ireland and the UK as well as a variety of industrial projects in Europe, South America and Asia. Duties include contract management, design, writing specification and tender documentation, evaluating responses, commissioning, and snag resolution.

Jack also carries out research and feasibility studies of novel technologies for implementation on client sites and develops Capex and Opex models for new builds and upgrades. Jack has worked on novel anaerobic digestion projects, enhanced biological phosphorous removal, shortcut nitrogen removal and a variety of chemical processes using dissolved air floatation and other solids separation technologies.

He is lead executive on a number of projects implementing climate action technology as a registered consultant with Enterprise Ireland for WEW Engineering Ltd.
